BETH BRIGGS - fashionable illustrations
Since I started blogging, I have met and worked with the most interesting people who share my passion for fashion and style - lovely readers, great collaboration partners and PR agencies, a famous German designer (I am excited to meet him again next week, more to follow!) and wonderful and supportive bloggers. I consider myself very lucky to have met some of these amazing women in real life and in the meantime we became friends which in fact is the best part of blogging!
Today I want to share a lovely experience which would not have happened without my blog and really touched me.
A couple of weeks ago I received a very kind email by Beth of Beth Briggs - Fashion Illustrator sending me a gorgeous sketch of an outfit I have recently worn. And even more, she asked for my address so she could send the original illustration. In reply to my question how much she will charge she simply said: No charge! My gift. I frequently do this for fun - it is my joy :-)
A week later a parcel from Boston arrived with the illustration and a wonderful fashion calendar 2015! By the way, this will make a fantastic Christmas present for my fashionable friends (yes... only 4 months to go!!) Beth's illustrations are available in her Etsy shop. Get your daily fashion inspiration on Beth's Instagram account and follow up on the cutest illustrations and fashion stories on her blog.

Seit ich angefangen habe zu bloggen, habe ich so viele bemerkenswerte Bekanntschaften und Erfahrungen gemacht! Ich habe wunderbare Leserinnen, interessante und erfolgreiche Kooperationen mit Marken und PR Agenturen, durfte einen bekannten deutschen Designer kennenlernen (und werde ihn nächste Woche wieder zu einem speziellen Event treffen... mehr dazu bald!) und sogar einige Bloggerinnen schon persönlich kennenlernen. Ganz besonders glücklich bin ich, dass dabei mit einigen Frauen Freundschaften entstanden sind und sie mir sehr viel bedeuten!
Heute nöchte ich Euch gerne von einem Erlebnis erzählen, das ohne meinen Blog nie stattgefunden hätte und mich sehr berührt hat. Blogs bringen sogar Kontinente zusammen!
Kürzlich erhielt ich eine nette email von Beth von Beth Briggs - Fashion Illustrator mit einer tollen Illustration eines Looks, den ich vor ein paar Wochen getragen und Euch auf diesem post vorgestellt hatte. Und Beth fragte mich nach meiner Adresse, damit sie mir das Original schicken könne! Auf meine Frage, was das denn kosten würde, erwiderte sie: Nichts! Mein Geschenk. Ich mache das oft zum Spaß und es macht mir einfach Freude :-)
Etwa eine Woche später erhielt ich ein Päckchen aus Boston, USA mit der Original illustration und einem wunderschönen Kalender 2015 mit unheimlich schicken Looks! Übrigens ein tolles Weihnachtsgeschenk für Eure Freundinnen. Beth's Zeichnungen gibt es in ihrem Etsy shop. Tägliche Inspirationen findet ihr auf Instagram und die dazu gehörigen "fashion stories" über ihre Modelle gibt es auf ihrem Blog.
Schaut unbedingt vorbei, Ihr werdet sehen, dass ich Euch nicht zuviel versprochen habe!
Dass ich darüber heute berichte, ist übrigens nur ein kleines Dankeschön. Und die persönliche Empfehlung meine ich ganz ehrlich!
