Die einfachste Art aus einem Bürolook einen lässiges Wochenend Outfit zu machen?
Einfach einen klassischen Blazer durch eine Jeansjacke ersetzen! Das ist für mich die schnellste Art, einen Look im Handumdrehen zu verändern ohne dass ich mich ansonsten umziehen muss.

Schon vor einiger Zeit hatte ich diesen schwarzen Midirock bei Mango gekauft, aber er hing ungetragen im Schrank. Oberteile dazu zu kombinieren, war einfach, aber welche Schuhe für diese Jahreszeit?

Pumps mit einer schwarzen, blickdichten Strumpfhose ist eine Option, aber ich fand es nicht unbedingt gelungen, aber etwas steif. Für einen klassischen Bürolook bei entsprechendem Dresscode aber durchaus geeignet.

Stiefeletten sind zu Röcken und Kleidern ja sehr trendy und an anderen gefällt mir das immer gut, ich sah omamäßig aus... Ich habe es mit meinen schwarzen Plateaustiefeletten (die bequemsten Schuhe mit Absatz, die ich besitze!) versucht und auch mit meinen Mango Stiefeletten, die ich in braunem Wildleder und mit Schlangenprints habe. Mit einem schmalen, langen Rock sieht es besser aus, wie z.B. hier mit meinem tannengrünen Kleid, das mir derzeit leider zu eng ist... :-(((

Das hatte ich in meinem letzten Post geschrieben. Und genau so habe ich es auch gehalten - mein Sohn kam zu Besuch und am Freitag Abend hatte ich es mir auf dem Sofa mit einer Wärmflasche und einem Glas Wein pünktlich zum Anpfiff gemütlich gemacht. Denn dass Fußball meine Leidenschaft ist, habe ich ja schon oft erwähnt! Fußball läuft bei mir immer, ich liebe es einfach. Doch dann während der ersten Halbzeit plötzlich die beiden Explosionen und irgendwann hat der Kommentator das Spiel auch nicht mehr wirklich konzentriert kommentiert ... mehr kann ich dazu gar nicht schreiben, denn wie allen fehlen mir die Worte, welcher Horror sich an diesem Abend in Paris außerhalb des Stadions ereignete.
Meine Gedanken hat meine liebe Bloggerfreundin Susi mir aus dem Mund genommen und hier auf Texterella in eindringliche Worte gefasst.

Und so zeige ich Euch heute einfach nur mein Outfit. Es ist eine Kombination aus gleich mehreren Herbsttrends, dennoch so kombiniert, dass sie genau zu mir und meinem persönlichen Stil passen.

Schon lang habe ich mich nicht mehr so auf's Wochenende gefreut, wie diese Woche! Nicht etwa, weil ich so große Pläne hätte, nein, ganz im Gegenteil: Erstens, weil mein Sohn auf Kurzbesuch kommt und zweitens, weil ich sonst nichts vor habe (das Thema Ablage, Keller aufräumen, etc. lasse ich jetzt einfach mal unter den Tisch fallen...!) Ich bin grundsätzlich sehr gerne zuhause, aber diese Woche war es im Büro so anstrengend und außerdem schlafe ich momentan sehr schlecht (wundert Euch also nicht, wenn ich nachts um 3 Kommentare zu Euren Instagram Fotos hinterlasse...) Daher ist ein entspanntes Wochenende genau, was ich brauche!

Und dazu gehört auch ein lässiger Wochenendlook. Gemütlich, aber dennoch mit Stil, "easy chic" also, sodass ich darin auch zum Einkaufen gehen kann. Die bequeme, weiche Tunika habe ich neulich bei Mango in London gefunden, allerdings die Säume von meiner Schneiderin umnähen lassen, ich mag's lieber "ordentlich" und die schwarzen Leggings sind ein idealer Begleiter dazu. Accessoires sind für mich ja immer besonders wichtig, in dem Fall auffälliger Schmuck, elegante Ledertasche im Kelly-Stil und meine metallic glänzenden Slippers von Zara.

Ich kann gar nicht oft genug betonen, wie sehr ich diese sehr warmen, sonnigen Novembertage genieße! Wirklich jeden freien Moment verbringe ich ich draußen, sei es mit Gartenarbeit, einer Tasse Cappuccino auf der Terrasse oder einem Spaziergang. Fotos dazu poste ich hier auf Instagram. Jeder einzelne Tag ist ein Tag weniger Winterfrust, denn ich bin nun mal ein absoluter Frühling-Sommertyp.

Auch bei meiner Kleidung bedeutet es, dass ich meine Stiefel und Stiefeletten derzeit wieder in den Schrank zurückgestellt habe, stattdessen Pumps ins Büro trage (ja, immer ohne Strümpfe!) und dort fast den ganzen Tag meine Balkontür offen lassen kann... Einer meiner Lieblingslooks für diese Zeit ist eine Tunika über einer schmalen Hose. Dieses tannengrüne Top von Zara habe ich kürzlich in London entdeckt - leider kann ich es aktuell nicht im Onlineshop finden, es gab das Shirt in 3 oder 4 Farben. Die Tunika ist unheimlich angenehm, seidig und fein, daher genau richtig für mein Temperaturempfinden, denn ich kann dicke Stoffe, gestricktes und Pullis überhaupt nicht tragen.

Wenn ich nicht viel Zeit habe und mich morgens schnell für ein Outfit entscheiden muss, fällt meine Wahl meistens auf Schwarz oder zumindest ist ein großer Teil davon Schwarz. Aber umso mehr, wenn ich mir die Zeit nehme und einen Ausgehlook für abends zusammenstelle - ich werde mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit auf Schwarz zurückgreifen, alles andere wäre eine Ausnahme.

Schwarz steht mir, ich fühle mich darin gut, stark und souverän. Man sagt immer, man sei darin auf der sicheren Seite und würde kein Risiko eingehen. Das glaube ich nicht, denn für mich ist keine andere Farbe derart vielseitig und daher kombiniere ich Schwarz je nach Laune und Anlass in verschiedensten Stilrichtungen.
Daher trage ich heute schwarze Kunstlederleggings mit einer teilweise transparenten Tunika und dazu eleganten Perlenschmuck. Die Leggings sind von H&M und ich kann sie wirklich empfehlen, denn sie fühlen sich toll an und passen super - momentan sind sie außerdem im Sale!

Meine Heels bezeichne ich übrigens gerne als "Sitzschuhe" - bestens geeignet für den Barhocker! Natürlich nicht um länger darin zu laufen, aber ein bisschen was besonderes muss schließlich auch mal sein, oder? Machen sich außerdem sehr gut auf Instagram... ;-)

I love dresses and I love bare legs but autumn has arrived here in Southern Bavaria. Although I am really determined not to wear tights yet, I am struggling when morning temperatures are in the low 40s F. Only when absolutely necessary, I wear them and most of the time opt for trousers these days. What's the alternative? Dresses and long tunics over skinnies and leggings? I have tried it!

Tunicdress over leggings

Currently I am looking for a new camel coat and saw this one from H&M's new Conscious Collection. I didn't want to order it online but rather had a look at my local store and was really disappointed - totally different colour and not impressed by the quality at all. Instead I found this paisley dress - too short for me and also not warm enough for this season but I wanted to give it a try and wear it as a long tunic over leggings. Usually leggings are my comfy-at-home look but I felt this dress was long enough to take them out - it is a thicker fabric and they look and feel more like skinnies, yet more comfortable.

Suede is a major trends this season and not only now I am in love with camel and cognac tones (see my suede blazer here.) Recently I saw a young women in this coat but unfortunately missed asking her where she got it from... I was pleasantly surprised when I found it at H&M the other day! It's very soft faux suede and rather a long cardigan or blazer to be worn over a top indoors than a coat that keeps you warm. Mine is a size 36 (US 6) and still very wide, I might take it to my seamstress to have it taken in a bit on both sides.

Autumn is the season of warm golden tones and the jewellery I am wearing today is from eternal collection. It is not the first time I cooperated with this family owned Scottish brand who are known for their outstanding customer service, They are happy to take care of your individual requests and adjust their jewellery to your personal needs and even bespoke. I have been dealing with Carol who represents eternal collection many times and it has always been such a pleasure!

Do you think about and lay out your clothes for the next day the night before? Most probably not I assume. I did that when I was at school and even made little sketches (obviously that was well before Polyvore collages...)

Nowadays I don't plan ahead unless I have something special on my agenda but for a normal day in the office, I first step out on my terrace and then in front of my wardrobe and then dress according to the weather and my mood. When in doubt, I always go for a classic look and basic colours. I know a lot of women are quite passionate about stripes and I do like them too and have a couple of pieces in my wardrobe. This is an old top which I paired with a very comfortable stretch skirt and a white cotton blazer. Together with patent-leather peeptoes this is an appropriate summer look for the office (here is another office attire).

What I love about these basic pieces is their versatility. After work, I just swop my heels for sneakers or slippers and the blazer for a denim jacket!

#heatwavegermany - that's the hashtag I currently use for my Instagram photos and I love it! Living in Bavaria's mountain region makes it more durable anyway since temperatures cool down at night and I wake up to fresh, clean air in the mornings. I hope this weather will stay forever...

Summer evenings also mean BBQs and drinks and this weekend I wore my daughter's wideleg paisley trousers and a black top. The trousers are super comfortable and the wider top doesn't stick to the skin but is light and airy. I love my chunky silver statement jewellery and always get a lot of comments on the necklace from Mango. Unfortunately it is sold out but there are some great options by Free People and BaubleBar (on sale!)

... even fashion bloggers can't buy new clothes for every post!

Everything I am wearing today has been in my wardrobe for quite some time. Although I love shopping, I am not craving for the latest must-have piece. Usually I am a bit hesitant towards new trends anyway and talked about it in my last post. Pairing existing clothes with a new purchase is always nice and feeling good and comfortable in my personal style is most important.

Winter... a never endling story this year. After a heavy storm over Germany, I woke up to a snow storm yesterday and it is still snowing. I am glad I am driving a SUV and still have my winter tyres - our rule is to keep them "from October to Easter".

Finally I have recovered from a bad cold and want thank you so much for all your kind get well wishes over on Instagram!
The ongoing bad weather prevented us from taking photos outside and you don't want to see me wearing my odd down coat and winter boots over this outfit, do you?

For a long time I haven't bought anything new from H&M, simply because the quality, fabrics and colours didn't appeal to me. However, when I saw this long waistcoat - something I was looking for quite a while - I thought I'd give it a try. And I was surprised when I received it: I really love the heavy quality (it is fully lined) and the visible stitching. For now I have paired it with black but I am looking forward to a spring/summer styling with lighter colours.

Although the snow is now gone in the centre of town, there is still a bit left in the surrounding area where we took these photos. It is getting warmer now but we still have frost over night which means I stored away my quilted jackets but I am still changing between woolen coats and trenchcoats.

Besides my classic beige one I have the red trenchcoat for a couple of years now (worn hear last year) and they never go out of style.

Sometimes I do need a statement colour and that's definitely the case with this bright red! My mum never wears red (although it suits her!) and I think because of that influence, I never wore this colour until only a couple of years ago.

When I reflect about my style and look at some older posts, I sometimes cannot relate to certain looks anymore. I have always loved elegant, feminine clothes but over the years I try to incorporate trendier or even edgier pieces. For example, I used to wear dresses and paired them with heels, a blazer and a classic bag. Nothing wrong with that and I still like these looks for certain occasions. However, now I love a style mix and might combine the same dress with a leather jacket and booties! I will still stay true to my personal style but I like the variety and try to keep the right balance.

Today I am not wearing any new pieces but some of them I have for years. For quite a while I don't shop at H&M anymore but I still have a few pieces in my wardrobe. 
The egg shaped coat, faux leather leggings and booties are on trend these days while my ruffled top and pearl jewellery are enough to add a softer touch to my outfit. And when I now look at these photos I think the lace curtains are a perfect match ;-)
