CASUAL AUTUMN LOOK IN BURGUNDY AND OLIVE

AUTUMN COLOURS - BURGUNDY MEETS KHAKI

Burgundy has been my favourite colour last year (seen here and here) and I can't believe this autumn has arrived so early with temperatures around 2C this morning! Yet again (or still?) I am in love with all shades of burgundy, plum and purple but this time I tried a different colour combination with nature's colours of this season.

I paired my blazer with cargo trousers in khaki and burgundy accessories. Usually I carry a lot of stuff and bigger handbags but sometimes a smaller bag is sufficient. I love cross body bags and these cute bucket bags are a major trend this year!

HERBSTLICH IN BORDEAUX UND KHAKI

Bordeaux war schon meine Lieblingsfarbe in der letzten Herbst/Wintersaison (hier und hier) und obwohl der diesjährige Herbst für mich viel zu früh kam (heute Morgen hatten wir nur 2C!), bin ich doch wieder bei dieser Farbe angekommen. Alle Töne dieses Spektrums wie Dunkelrot, Bordeaux oder Pflaume passen sehr gut zu Schwarz und Grau, damit sehen sie besonders elegant aus, aber dieses Mal habe ich sie mit einem Naturton für einen lässigen Look kombiniert.

Zu meinem taillierten Blazer trage ich meine Cargohose in Khaki und Ton-in-Ton Accessoires. Normalerweise schleppe ich ja immer unendlich viel für alle Eventualitäten in entsprechend großen Handtaschen mit mir rum... aber manchmal beschränke ich mich tatsächlich auf wirklich notwendiges (denn ich habe das alles eigenlich noch nie wirklich gebraucht...!). Und neben kleinen Umhängetaschen finde ich diese Beuteltaschen, die jetzt groß im Trend liegen, unheimlich süß!

STELLA MCCARTNEY DOUGLAS EVENT MUNICH

STELLA MCCARTNEY RELAUNCHES STELLA PERFUME

When I received my daughter Alena's text message at the office on Wednesday morning, I couldn't believe it... "Would you like to join me tomorrow night and meet Stella McCartney?!" OMG, yes!! Alena who is blogging on meet me stylish was lucky enough to win an invitation for 2 from lovely blogger Angela of The 3rd Voice and so we got this fabulous opportunity to meet Ms McCartney in the VIP area of Munich's biggest Douglas store for the #DouglasxStella Event.

Her relaunched fragrance STELLA is an homage to the English rose, a powerful symbol of the English fashion designer's beloved home country, and a classic expression of femininity. Both Alena and I love the top notes of rose and base notes of amber of this perfume.

Stella McCartney was really interested (as you can see in the photo below!) when Alena told her that she is studying at London's prestigious Central Saint Martins College where the designer graduated in 1995 and wished her good luck!

It was also a great opportunity to meet lovely fellow bloggers at the event including the lovely Olga of La Petite Olga and Cover PR! And the younger generation of bloggers was interested to hear that there are actually mature fashion bloggers who target at their mothers' age group :-)

STELLA MCCARTNEY BEIM DOUGLASxSTELLA EVENT

Als meine Tochter Alena, die auf meet me stylish bloggt, mir am Mittwoch Vormittag folgende What's App Nachricht schickte, konnte ich es erst wirklich nicht glauben... "Magst Du mit mir morgen Abend nach München fahren und Stella McCartney treffen?!" - Ähh, JA!! Alena hatte am Giveaway bei der lieben Angela von The 3rd Voice teilgenommen und diese Einladung in den VIP Bereich von Münchens größtem Douglas in der Theatinerstraße zum #DouglasxStella Event gewonnen!

Ihr neu aufgelegtes Eau de Parfum STELLA basiert auf den Aromen der Rose – ein Duft, den die Designerin schon seit ihrer Kindheit liebt. Ergänzt wird dies durch einen Hauch prickelnder Mandarinen-Essenz mit holzigem Amber. "Ich wollte einen Duft kreieren, der meine englische Seite hervorhebt und sehr traditionell ist", sagt Stella McCartney. Alena und ich finden den Duft klasse!

Stella McCartney war erstaunt und völlig begeistert, als Alena ihr beim Signieren des Parfums erzählte, dass sie auch am Londoner Central Saint Martins College studiert, wo die Designerin 1995 ihren Abschluss machte! Das Foto oben zeigt dies deutlich und sie wünschte Alena viel Glück!

An dem Abend haben wir tolle Bloggerinnen aus München und Wien getroffen und ich habe mich besonders gefreut, die wunderbare Olga von La Petite Olga und Cover PR persönlich kennenzulernen. Es war außerdem interessant für die jüngere Generation zu erfahren, dass es auch ältere Modebloggerinnen gibt, da ihre eigenen Mütter auf der Suche nach Bloggerinnen für ihre Altersgruppe sind! Oh ja, die gibt es :-)

AFTER WORK EVENT IN BLACK MANGO

OFFICE ATTIRE TO AFTER WORK LOOK

At my international work place I often receive invitations to events, celebrations of national holidays and receptions and some of them start right after work. I assume many of you work in the city centre but live in the suburbs and you also do these quick and easy restylings for after work inviations.

During the day my office attire often means dresses, skirts or trousers paired with a blazer. I have recently worn these new black Mango suit trousers (especially for basics their sale has amazing offers!) and my black cropped blazer (similar here) with a white t-shirt and black heels. For the evening event I simply swopped the t-shirt for this silky ruffled top in mauve (similar), stiletto heels and matching turtoise statement earrings from my lovely photographer Jasmin!

VOM BÜRO LOOK ZUM AFTER WORK EVENT

An meinem internationalen Arbeitsplatz werde ich sehr oft zu Events eingeladen, von Nationalfeiertagen, Stehempfängen bis zu formellen Veranstaltungen, von denen einige direkt nach der Arbeitszeit stattfinden. Aber auch wenn man in der Stadt arbeitet und außerhalb wohnt, fährt man ja meist nicht erst nach Hause, sondern zieht sich direkt im Büro um und so ein Restyling kann ganz schnell und einfach gehen!

Im Büro trage ich oft Kleider, aber auch Röcke und Hosen mit Blazern. Diese neue Anzughose von Mango (gerade bei Basicteilen gibt es eine fantastische Auswahl im Sale!) mit meinem Kurzblazer (ähnlich hier) habe ich tagsüber mit einem hellen T-Shirt und schwarzen Pumps getragen. Nach Büroschluss habe ich das T-Shirt einfach gegen ein mauvefarbenes, seidiges Volanttop, meine Stilettos und passende große Schildpattohrringe (von der lieben Jasmin, meiner Fotografin!) ausgetauscht.

BAVARIAN DIRNDL FOR THE MUNICH OKTOBERFEST

TRADITIONAL BAVARIAN DIRNDL

It's time to get ready for the Oktoberfest! The biggest beerfest and partyzone in the world will open its tents next weekend for 2 weeks which means more than 7 million litres of beer, 500000 grilled chickens and countless hangovers...

A dirndl is the traditional costume for women in Bavaria and other Alpine countries and regions like Austria and South Tyrol in Italy. Every region has its own style and it is very interesting to see the variety of dresses at the grand opening ceremony next weekend. At the Oktoberfest you will also see a lot of "modern" types of dirndls in a mini length or with a lot of glitter... That's not my cup of tea and as native Bavarian, a dirndl is part of my culture and identity and I perfer a classic style.

The combination of red and green is very popular here and also my dress is quite long which was always the case for a dirndl in the old days. It is made of silk and an investment piece which I bought a couple of years ago. However, I can wear it different ways depending on the occasion. Here you can see my version from last year where I paired it with a white blouse and a black apron. Today I am wearing my red and white gingham blouse and a dark green apron for a different look.

AUTUMN LOOK AND ANIMAL PRINTS

Autumn arrived early... actually this is an understatement since here in Southern Germany we completely missed out on summer this year! Some nice days in July but no hot and sunny period at all and my skin doesn't even show a light sun tan...
Therefore my autumn look is more than appropriate for our weather forecast this week!

BON'A PARTE - Fashion and lifestyle from Scandinavia

For many years I am a fan and customer of Scandinavian based brand Bon'A Parte and their individual mix and match style. It only takes a few adjustments to dress the individual outfit up or down and create a whole new look. They offer trendy pieces yet their collection can be worn for years without going out of style! I have shown you a beautiful sequined top in this post here which I bought a couple of years ago. I also have got quite a few pieces from their gorgeous lingerie series.

Of yourse I couldn't resist when Bon'A Parte offered me to introduce you to this soft leopard coat and black leather booties with back zipper from their new autumn line!
This coat will be my favourite outerwear this season and you may rest assured to see it on the blog a couple of times... I just love animal prints and I am so glad this trend will stay! The slight platform and medium heel of my ankle boots make them really comfortable and they are a must have this autumn.

I have completed the outfit with a ruffled top (seen here) and my black Maxwell Scott bag to add a feminine and elegant touch to this trendy autumn look.

HERBSTLICHER LOOK MIT LEOPRINTS

Der Herbst kam viel zu früh, besser gesagt, er hat sich hier in Bayern ja direkt an den Frühling angeschlossen und der Sommer blieb komplett auf der Strecke... Da ich auch nicht im Sommerurlaub war, kann mich nicht erinnern, jemals so blass gewesen zu sein wie dieses Jahr. War aber fast egal, da ich eh mehr Hosen trug und meine Sommerkleider nicht ausführen konnte...

Im Hinblick auf den Wetterbericht - unverändert diese Woche - ist mein herbstliches Outfit somit mehr als angemessen!

Seit vielen Jahren liebe ich die Mode und bin Kunde der Skandinavischen Marke Bon'A Parte und freue mich immer wieder über den neuen Katalog. Die Kollektionen bieten zahllose Kombinationsmöglichkeiten, und jedes einzelne Outfit lässt sich mit wenigen Mitteln immer wieder neu elegant oder lässig stylen. Trotz Trendteilen ist der Stil zeitlos, so habe ich Euch in diesem Post eine wunderschöne paillettenbesetzte Wickelbluse gezeigt, die ich vor ein paar Jahren gekauft hatte. Auch aus der Lingerie und Homewear Kollektion besitze ich mehrere Teile.

Nur zu gerne stelle ich Euch daher heute diesen traumhaften Leo Mantel und die schwarzen Leder Stiefeletten aus der neuen Herbstkollektion vor, die Bon'A Parte mir geschickt hat. Mit Sicherheit wird der Mantel mein Lieblingsstück und Ihr werdet ihn in anderer Kombi wieder hier sehen! Ich bin froh, dass der Trend bleibt, denn von Leoprints kann ich einfach nicht genug bekommen. Die Stiefel aus weichem Echtleder mit leichter Plateausohle und mittelhohem Absatz sind super bequem zu tragen. Stiefeletten sind einfach ein must-have im Herbst!

Dazu trage ich ein Volantshirt (hier) und meine schwarze Riana Maxwell Scott Tasche um dem Look eine feminin-elegante Note zu geben.
