Maxidress and flip-flops for an escape to the lake

I just love our hot summer this year and I am enjoying every moment outside. We have a couple of small, scenic lakes in the area and whenever I have a chance I go there at night when there are less people and have a swim. Even better now while my daughter is here over the summer break and joins me.

These days I wear my maxi dresses a lot, they are so comfortable and easy going. This one is from Athleta and I paired it with colourful jewellery, my straw tote from one of my travels to Thailand and golden flip flops from Accessorize (I also love these from Nine West and Nordstrom) – an ideal outfit for warm summer evenings.

Im bequemen Maxikleid geht’s an den See

Das traumhafte Sommerwetter soll diese Woche weitergehen, auch wenn die große Hitze etwas nachgelassen hat. Ich genieße weiterhin jeden Moment im Freien und besonders gerne fahre ich abends, wenn es ruhiger ist, an einen unserer kleinen, idyllischen Seen in der Gegend und schwimme eine Runde. Noch schöner ist, dass meine Tochter ihre Semesterferien bei mir verbringt und mich gerne begleitet!

Besonders gerne trage ich momentan meine Maxikleider, sie sind so bequem und angenehm bei diesem Wetter. Dazu kommt farblich passender Schmuck, eine Strohtasche, die ich auf einer früheren Reise in einem Kunsthandwerksladen in Thailand gekauft habe und goldene Flip Flops von Accessorize (diese hier von Aldo und New Look finde ich auch besonders schön) – fertig ist mein Hochsommerlook.
