Sind Leomuster nun wieder Trend oder längst etabliert? Schwer zu sagen, zumindest sind die sogenannten Animalprints seit vielen Jahren fester modischer Bestandteil von H&M bis zu vielen High End Designern. Vor ein paar Jahren habe ich Leo häufig getragen, dann kamen Schlangenmuster dazu – bis es mir zuviel wurde und ich alles für längere Zeit in den Kleiderschrank verbannt habe!
Leopard & Leder – wenn es mal wilder sein darf
Erst langsam fand ich wieder Gefallen daran, jedoch setze ich diese besonderen Muster sehr sporadisch ein, mal als Accessoire wie mit einem Schal oder als Druck auf einer Tasche oder wie heute nicht zu übersehen. Ich hatte überlegt, was ich zu einer Party tragen könnte und mich an meine Leojacke erinnert!
Diese kurze, leicht ausgestellte Jacke könnte mit einer schwarzen, geraden Stoffhose oder schlichtem Rock und dazu schwarzen, blickdichten Strümpfen und Pumps oder Stiefeln auch alltagstauglich kombiniert werden. Sie ist für einen milden Herbsttag genau richtig und weit genug um auch etwas wärmeres drunter zu tragen.
Ich habe für meinen Party-Ausgehlook allerdings eine etwas wildere Variante gewählt und setze auf meine butterweiche schwarze Lederhose von Madeleine, die ich in anderen Kombinationen schon auf dem Blog vorgestellt habe (mein Red Carpet Look beim Tribute to Bambi als auch im modernen Businesslook mit besticktem Blazer).
Wichtig ist mir bei diesem Look zurückhaltende Accessoires, wie meine klassische Michael Kors Tasche und bis auf meine schwarzen Ohrringe kein Schmuck. Denn mit Goldklunker oder Gucci Gürtel würde diese Kombination nicht mehr zu mir passen! Sorry, liebe Gucci-GG-Gürtelträgerinnen, aber ich kann sie nun mal nicht ausstehen und ganz Instagram ist davon überschwemmt…

Mein Look
Would you consider leopard prints a trend or have they become a timeless style over the years? Anyway, from H&M to many high end designers, animal prints are part of their collections. A couple of years ago I wore quite a lot of leopard and snake prints until I felt is was enough and they were hiding in my wardrobe!
Leopard & leather – when you want to show your wild side
Slowly I got back into these prints, however, usually only in smaller doses like a scarf or shoes until I was looking for a party outfit the other day and remembered my cropped leopard coat.
Paired with classic, black trousers or a skirt, opaque tights and black pumps or boots, this jacket is a great option for a stylish day time look. For colder temperatures it can also be worn with a warmer shirt, cardigan or sweater underneath.
For this evening look I went for a slightly sexier option with my super soft black leather leggings by Madeleine which I have previously worn in different stylings on the blog here: My red carpet look at the Tribute to Bambi and my modern business look with an embroidered blazer).
When you are wearing two eyecatching pieces (which I normally don’t but always focus on one only), make sure your accessories stay low key. I chose my classic taupe Michael Kors handbag and wore almost no jewellery.
Imagine I added big golden statement jewellery and a Gucci belt 😉 Sorry to all Gucci-GG-belt-lovers but they are a no-go for me and I am so tired of seeing them on Instagram…

Wie immer sehr chic und stilvoll!
Ich hab mich bisher immer nur getraut Leo dezent bei Accessoires zu kombinieren. Habe zum Beispiel schon lange eine Uhr von https://www.uhrcenter.de/Cluse-Uhren mit Leo-Print. Die Jacke hier ist allerdings so edel, dass es wohl das erste Leo-Kleidungsstück wird, dass ich mir hole. Die steht es jedenfalls ganz ausgezeichnet!

You did very well with leaving the jewellery out. This is well balanced. I love the look as I love leather and leopard. Now what when you take the jacket off? Or is it an indoors jacket?

With my short hair I now prefer big earrings and then rather go without a necklace.
The jacket is too warm for inside (and too ‚chunky‘ because of the wide cut) but when I take it off I think it is still one of my favourite all-black party look.
