Frühlingshafte Blumenmuster im Winter… Kälte, Grau, Schnee und Regen setzen meinem Wohlbefinden und meiner Laune zu. Selbst meine Anreise zum Flughafen München letzte Woche war davon betroffen und aufgrund gesperrter Straßen hatte ich sogar meinen Flug versäumt. Zum Glück konnte ich auf die nächste Maschine umbuchen (vielen Dank an den tollen Kundenservice von British Airways!), sodass ich noch am gleichen Abend das geplante Dinner und eine gute Flasche Weißwein mit meiner Tochter in einem unserer Lieblingsrestaurants genießen konnte.

 

Frühlingshafte Blumenmuster an grauen Wintertagen

 

Hier in London ist in den Läden noch genauso Sale wie in München, aber ich schaue meistens eh gleich zu den neuen Kollektionen und hatte bei Mango diese weite Hose mit Blumenmuster entdeckt.
Mein ideales Styling mit weißer, geknoteter Bluse und sommerlichen Espadrilles habe ich bereits vor Augen, vielleicht noch eine helle Basttasche dazu, große Ohrringe und natürlich leicht gebräunter Teint… aber bis dahin möchte ich sie nicht im Schrank hängen lassen!
Meine winterliche Kombi besteht daher aus meinem klassischen schwarzen Blazer von Hobbs London und Stiefeletten, toll kann ich mir dazu auch einen lässigen Cardigan vorstellen in Schwarz oder Grün vorstellen, hier bin ich aktuell noch auf der Suche.

Mir ist es wichtig, meine Kleidung zu unterschiedlichen Anlässen in verschiedenen Stilarten zu kombinieren, mal elegant für abends, tagsüber im Büro oder auch lässig für die Freizeit. Genauso saisonal übergreifend und mit Ausnahme von reiner, richtig warmer Winter- oder dünner, luftdurchlässiger Hochsommerkleidung (wie oft brauche ich die schon…?) sind die meisten Teile meiner Garderobe sowieso ganzjährig tragbar oder für die sogenannte „Übergangszeit“ geeignet. Die entsprechende Kombination macht’s möglich und ich habe mehr davon!

 

Im Trend: Wechselbare Taschengurte

 

Es gibt Trends, die an mir vorübergehen, aber von manchen bin ich gleich begeistert, wie den aktuellen Taschengurten, die man jetzt auch einzeln kaufen und damit vorhandene Taschen aufpeppen kann! Dieser grüngestreifte Baumwollgurt gehört zur Umhängetasche, aber ich kann ihn farblich ganz einfach austauschen und habe mir neulich bei Hallhuber gleich mehrere gekauft. Zeige ich Euch natürlich demnächst!

A hint of spring in winter… cold, grey and rainy weather gives me mood swings and I can definitely do without snow at all! My journey to Munich airport was disrupted by heavy snowfall and blocked roads last week and I even missed my flight to London!  I want to thank British Airways and their customer service for rebooking me onto the next flight and get me into London for a warm welcome and lovely dinner with my daughter the same evening!

 

A hint of spring florals during grey winter days

 

Same as in Munich, the sale is still going strong in London but I tend to look for the new collection. These wideleg trousers with floral prints are from Mango and part of their new S/S 18 range.
I can already picture them paired with a white, front knotted blouse, summery espadrilles and a light straw bag – preferably with a nice sun tan and big ear hoops… Of course I couldn’t resist wearing them already now and combined them with my classic blazer from Hobbs London and ankle boots. Currently I am looking for a casual cardigan in either black or green as another styling option for these trousers.

Versatile clothes are important for me and I love adjusting them for different occasions like elegant evening looks, a more formal office attire or a casual weekend styling. Most of my clothes (except some super warm winter or light and airy summer pieces) are suitable all year round or at least for the transitional seasons. Again it is all about the right styling and combinations.

 

On trend: Exchangeable bag straps

 

I don’t follow all trends (sometimes it takes me longer to get into them, sometimes I completely neglect them) but then there are some really great ones like the new exchangeable bag straps. This black crossbody bag came with the striped strap but I can easily replace it by another one. Don’t you love the idea of adjusting to different styles and colours? I will show you some of the straps I recently bought in one of my upcoming outfit posts!
