STRIPES N‘ ROSES
When I see other bloggers wearing a pattern mix I always wonder how effortless they have created that look, as this it not my no.1 skill. Therefore I am cheating a bit today when this colourful stripes & roses dress immediately caught my attention with its ready-made pattern mix! Ruby Belle is a second line of Fever London, a UK vintage brand currently showcased by my gorgeous blogger friend Catherine of Not Dressed As Lamb.
We are going through a period of grey and rainy weather and when I did my annual spring flower shopping for my terrace, I had the idea of taking our photos in one of the greenhouses. Enjoy a bright and colourful post amongst geraniums, petunias and roses today.

Wenn ich bei anderen Bloggerinnen Outfits im Mustermix sehe, bin ich immer wieder erstaunt, wie einfach und lässig das aussieht, da ich das irgendwie nie schaffe. Heute schummle ich daher ein bisschen mit diesem Kleid, das mir diesen Mix aus Streifen und Blumen einfach abgenommen hat! Ruby Belle ist eine Zweitlinie des Vintage Labels Fever London, für das meine liebe Bloggerfreundin Catherine von Not Dressed As Lamb nicht nur für eine Kampagne vor der Kamera stand, sondern auch derzeit ein Kleid auf ihrem Blog zeigt.
Bei unserem momentanen grauen Regenwetter war es unmöglich, draußen Fotos zu machen, daher gibt es heute Innenaufnahmen, aber nicht in meinem Wohnzimmer, sondern im Gewächshaus meiner Lieblingsgärtnerei, wo ich immer meine Frühlingsblumen für die Terrasse kaufe.

als Du gestern ein sneak peek auf instagram gezeigt hast, war ich schon ganz gespannt auf das Outfit. Das Kleid sieht einfach klasse an Dir aus. Ich bin überrascht, dass Du darunter Shapewear trägts. Einerseits finde ich, hast Du sie gar nicht nötig, denn Du hast eine klasse Figur, andrerseits bin ich begeistert, dass man gar nichts unter dem Kleid sieht. Ich bin kein großer Fan dieser Shapewear, weil sich doch immer etwas am Bein oder sonst wo abzeichnet. Du hast scheinbar die perfekte Shapewer gefunden! 🙂
Die Kombination aus Blumen und Streifen finde ich absolut genial und witzigerweise habe ich auch ein Outfit geplant, dass Blumen und Streifen kombiniert, allerdings in zwei verschiedenen Kleidungsstücken.
Wie immer ein fabelhaftes Outfit.

Liebe Annette, das ist der Wahnsinn – von Kopf bis Fuß siehst Du fantastisch aus. Ich weiß gar nicht, wo ich zuerst anfangen soll. Ohrringe, Kette, Ring, Schuhe und Kleid alles passt wie die Faust aufs Auge… 🙂 Gefällt mir so sehr . Mustermix mag ich auch und bei Dir und Deinem Outfit, weiß ich heute wieder ganz genau warum. da hast du ja das schlechte Wetter Problem wunderbar gelöst und dann stehst du auch noch farblich passend bei den richtigen Blumen. Dein Kleid blüht genauso hübsch wie die echten Blumen. Für Mustermix habe ich auch nicht so ein gutes Händchen. Gut dass es solche Kleider gibt wie dieses.
Hübsch siehst du aus bis ins letzte Detail, selbst der Ring passt. 🙂

ein toller Mustermix. Ich finde, das ist ein schwieriges Modethema, das Du wieder wunderschön gelöst hast. Schuhe, Tasche und Schmuck passen farblich perfekt zum Kleid und die Location mit den tollen Blumen ist genial.
Mir geht es wie Stef, ich kann kaum glauben, dass Du Shapewear trägst, das sieht wirklich unglaublich gut aus.

You look fabulous in that dress. You have such a trim and well proportioned figure, Annette, would you be uncomfortable wearing it without shapewear?
Thanks for your comment and question, dear Rebecca! It depends on the fabric (thin/compact) and also on the temperature. Although my modern shapewear is really comfortable and easy to wear, it might not be your choice if you live in a hot or humid climate. Here in the mountains our climate is dry and never too hot. Often it is actually nicer (and warmer) to wear something underneath. xo Annette

Beautiful dress!! And you have accessorized it very well. Nice ring, nice, simple necklace as a statement necklace would have been too much (I think). Together with the bag and shoes: a very elegant look.
Like you I am not very good at pattern mixing, so I only do that after the shop assistent has shown me what would work haha.

I love the scoop neckline (I think it's a very flattering look!) and the stripes-and-roses print is a great way to get into the whole pattern-mixing thing!!
