MEINE SCHWARZE LIEBLINGSLEDERJACKE UND EINE HOSE MIT BESONDEREN DETAILS
Warum nicht auch im Alltag etwas nicht-alltägliches tragen?
Die seitliche Drapierung fand ich so ausgefallen und ich musste sie bestellen! Ok, ich gebe zu, sie sah angezogen zunächst reichlich merkwürdig aus, denn die Beine waren wesentlich weiter, was bei der 7/8 Länge alles andere als vorteilhaft aussah. Sowas geht vermutlich nur bei einer Modelfigur.
Also habe ich die Hose zu meiner Schneiderin gebracht, die sie mir nach meinen Vorstellungen geändert hat. Sie ist sicher nach wie vor nicht figurschmeichelnd, aber mit Pumps und einem schmalen Oberteil finde ich sie etwas ganz besonderes!
Diese Hose ist bei Zara leider ausverkauft, aber es gibt dort eine ganze Reihe in schwarz mit besonderen Details am Bund oder verziertem Saum.
Dazu konnte ich letztes Wochenende endlich wieder auf Strümpfe verzichten und meine Lieblingslederjacke aus der THOM Kollektion von Designer Thomas Rath tragen. Sie ist so unglaublich weich und ein zeitloses Teil, das ich liebe!

Niemals ohne Schmuck
Die große, runde Schnalle meiner Hose ist nicht genug – daher habe ich meine Kette von Mango, meine Ohrringe und den Silberring natürlich geometrisch genau dazu passend ausgewählt. Die Kette trage ich in letzter Zeit sehr viel, aber meine silbernen Kreolen und der massive Ring aus Thailand sind seit sicher 30 Jahren meine ständigen Begleiter!

Hingucker – Designerclutch
Die schicke Burberry Clutch habe ich meiner Tochter vor ein paar Jahren geschenkt, daher darf ich sie mir doch mal ausleihen, wenn sie so perfekt zu meinen Farben passt, oder?
Leider hat sie die meisten Sachen in London, daher habe ich derzeit natürlich nur begrenzt Zugriff auf ihren Kleiderschrank…
Ich kann es gar nicht erwarten, im April wieder hinzufliegen, dort treffe ich natürlich auch meine Bloggerfreundinnen der Over 40 Collective, habe Termine mit Firmen und freue mich auf ein Kennenlernen mit neuen Bekannten!

Why wearing something ordinary on a Monday?
The draped, buckled side caught my eye and I had to order them. Ok, I agree, when I tried them on for the first time they did look a bit strange because the cropped legs were a lot wider than they are now – possibly only flattering a tall, very slim model.
I am lucky to have my trusted seamstress who altered them and the legs are now in a more tapered shape. Maybe these trousers are not sexy or figure hugging but it is the draped part which makes them special.
Last weekend the weather was spring-like for the first time (no longer at moment…) and I was able to get out my favourite and super soft leather jacket by German designer Thomas Rath. It is a timeless piece which I can wear for many years.
Jewellery – the more the better
As if the big buckle of my trousers wasn’t enough…! Its form is reflected in my silver necklace from Mango, my hoop earrings and my solid silver ring. I am wearing this necklace a lot recently but for probably 30 years (!) my earrings and ring from Thailand have been my favourites.
Designer piece – Clutch
A couple of years ago I got this little Burberry clutch as a present for my daughter and thought it is the perfect accessory since the colours exactly match my outfit.
Unfortunately she has got most of her clothes and bags in London and I can only raid her wardrobe when I am visiting (and vice versa when she is here!) – can’t wait to go back to London in April!
