Wieder einmal war ich in London und habe Euch bereits über meinen wunderbaren Tag mit meiner Over40Collective auf Einladung von MADELEINE auf der Chelsea Flower Show berichtet.Da meine Freundinnen nicht alle in London, sondern verstreut in England und Südwales leben, sind einige schon am Vortag angereist und wir haben die Gelegenheit natürlich für einen Mädelsabend genutzt! Essen und Drinks bei sommerlichen Temperaturen im Freien, dabei viel geredet und gelacht und natürlich haben wir auch ein paar Outfitfotos gemacht.

SOMMER IN DER STADT – SCHICK & BEQUEM
Ich selbst war eigentlich gar nicht darauf vorbereitet und nachdem ich den ganzen Tag in der Stadt unterwegs war, ist mein Outfit auch richtig authentisch! Genau das habe ich nämlich bei herrlichem Wetter so getragen, als ich wieder einmal in meinen Lieblingsgegenden in Notting Hill, diesmal bis zum Holland Park und rund um den Sloane Square unterwegs war.

Was trage ich im Sommer in der Stadt?

Wichtig ist mir, dass ich meinen eigenen Look auch auf Reisen nicht aufgeben muss, ein typischer Touristenlook geht also gar nicht – darüber hatte ich anlässlich meines Wochenendes im Herbst in Salzburg hier ausführlich geschrieben. Ich lebe selbst in einem Touristenort und weiß wirklich, wovon ich spreche!
Entschieden habe ich mich für einen sommerlichen, sehr hellen Look mit locker sitzender Baumwollhose von expresso Fashion, einem seidig-glänzenden, ärmellosen Top von comma und flachen, super bequemen, weichen Ballerinas von office London. Diese leichten Tops sehen auch unter einem Blazer top im Büro aus, ich habe mehrere in diesem Stil.

Again I returned to London, this time by invitation of MADELEINE fashion on the occasion of the Chelsea Flower Show where my blogger friends of the Over40Collective and I spent an amazing day – see all photos and our outfits in my last post.My friends don’t all live in London and some of them arrived the day earlier coming from the North and West of England as well as from Wales. A great opportunity to meet for a girls night out!
SUMMER IN THE CITY – MY EASY CHIC LOOK
Walking around my favourite areas of London in Notting Hill and Sloane Square
The brilliant weather allowed us to have dinner outside and we even had time to take some outfit photos. Don’t miss the fabulous outfits by Liz of What Lizzy Loves and Michelle of The Barefaced Chic – all taken by Catherine of Not Dressed As Lamb that evening.
I wasn’t quite prepared for that since I spent the warm weather walking around my favourite areas of London all day long but the location was too nice and Catherine quickly took some pics of me too. Call it a truly authentic street style!
What to wear on a summer’s day in the city:

It is important for me to not look like a tourist when I am travelling and I wrote about my 10 tips in a previous post „Autumn weekend in Salzburg.“ I live in a town which attracts lots of tourists every day and believe me, I know what I am talking about…
I chose a look in very light colours wearing comfortable cotton trousers, a sleeveless silky top by comma fashion and very comfortable, soft silver ballerinas from Office London. At work I love wearing these satin toops under a blazer and own several ones in different colours.
