Teil 2 - Elegant und superbequem im Wickelkleid

Nach meinem Bürolook mit Hose, das mir meine Stylistin Ruth vom Online Stylingservice ZALON zusammengestellt hat, zeige ich Euch heute einen weiteren Look in Blau, den ich sowohl tagsüber als auch zum Weggehen abends tragen würde.

Ich hatte in meinem Vorgespräch gesagt, dass ich Wickelkleider liebe. denn ich finde sie so weiblich und elegant! Habt Ihr mein rotes Popelin-Wickelkleid in meinem letzten Post gesehen? Auf Instagram habe ich sogar ein Mini-Video für Euch!

Dieses hier aus fließendem Jerseystoff von Ralph Lauren ist in Wickeloptik und damit superbequem und angenehm zu tragen. Es ist zwar sehr figurbetont, aber durch die Raffung und den Volant auch sehr schmeichelhaft. Außerdem hat es die perfekte Länge für mich, in der ich mich wohl fühle.

10 ESSENTIAL TIPS HOW TO WEAR A BODYCON DRESS

HOW CAN A BODYCON DRESS FLATTER MY SHAPE?

On top of my list: Exercising in the gym and running on the hill trails surrounding my hometown as soon as the snow has gone - which is actually today after a huge storm across Western Europe took it all! However, snow, rain and more wind are on the forecast for the next days... our weather is really strange (check out my photos on Instagram!)

In my last post I wore a comfy tunic and today you may wonder why it is a bodycon dress. I love dresses and I wanted to show how you can wear a form-fitting dress even when you are currently a bit struggling with your personal shape. And that of course goes for all sizes - I do wear a small size but I am far away from feeling comfortable and fit (as I was in my fitness post here) and that's what it is all about, isn't it?

Feeling good in a bodycon dress - 10 essentials tips:

Stretch - for extra comfort
Fabrics - a thicker fabric gives more support than a very thin one
Prints - they don't highlight every little extra pound like plain ones would do
Waistline - higher up, almost a slight empire cut
Drape / wrap effect - for a gentle cover up of tummy and love handles
Colour - your favourite colour for extra visibility
Dark - darker shades for a slimmer silhouette
Shapewear - more confidence with body shaping underwear
V-neck - elongates your body
Optical Illusion - a dress that maximises an hourglass effect

WIE TRÄGT MAN EIN FIGURBETONTES KLEID AUCH NACH DEN FEIERTAGEN?

Ganz oben auf meiner Liste: Das Fitness Studio, das mir übrigens kostenlos 24/7 zur Verfügung steht und daher wirklich keine Ausrede zulässt!! Und Laufen sobald der Schnee weg ist, wobei der starke Sturm grad alles weggeblasen hat - das seht Ihr hier auf Instagram. Auch hier kann ich mich nicht beklagen, denn die schönsten Strecken in herrlicher Landschaft fangen direkt vor meiner Haustür an! Es geht also ausschließlich noch um den bekannten Schweinehund, der sich allzu breit macht... den kennt Ihr ja, oder?

Letztes Mal habe ich eine lässige Tunika getragen und vielleicht wundert Ihr Euch, warum es heute ausgerechnet ein enges Kleid ist? Ich liebe Kleider und gerade deshalb möchte ich Euch heute ein paar Tips geben, wie diese Art von figurbetonten Kleidern auch nach den Feiertagen gut aussehen. Es geht übrigens nicht um eine möglichst kleine Konfektionsgöße, sondern darum, welche Tricks es gibt, wenn man gerade nicht in Bestform ist.... Diese Form, sprich mein persönliches Wohlfühlgewicht und Fitness möchte ich bald wieder erreichen - hier in meinem Fitness Post war das nämlich der Fall!

Daher geht es heute um die Frage "Wie kann ich ein tailliertes Kleid tragen, wenn die Weihnachtsplätzchen ihre Spuren hinterlassen haben?" Darauf habe ich diese Antworten für Euch:

10 Top Tips, ein figurbetontes Kleid zu tragen:

Stretchmaterial - es ist einfach bequemer und passt sich an
Stoffart - ein dickes Material verzeiht mehr als ein ganz feines
Muster - günstiger als uni, das gerne jedes extra Kilo hervorhebt
Taille - eine etwas erhöhte Taille oder leichter Empireschnitt sind vorteilhafter
Wickel-/ drapierter Effekt - lockerer Stoff, der nicht an Bauch und Hüften spannt
Farbe - Lieblingsfarbe für eine positive Ausstrahlung
Dunkle Töne - "Schwarz macht schlank" und ist vorteilhafter als helle Töne
Shapewear - damit fühle ich mich unter engen Kleidern wohler
V-Ausschnitt - streckt die Figur
Optische Täuschung - dunkle Seiteneinsätze für eine kurvige Sanduhr Figur

1 WRAP DRESS - 2 FASHION BLOGGERS

ONE WRAP DRESS - TWO BLOGGERS

I cannot hide my love for wrap dresses! Body hugging and most feminine, they are 100% my style. When I recently visited one of my daily reads, Lydia's blog Chic On The Cheap, she wore this lovely dress but admitted her love/hate towards the dress and mostly its length. Her post For'midi'able received plenty of encouraging feedback how well it suits her! But I never expected her reply to my comment "Done with your dress?? Send it over :-)" Only a moment later I received Lydia's email in my inbox "It's yours!"

This is the story of a gorgeous wrap dress which is mine now and I loved it from the very first moment I tried it on! It is from Max Studio and I already had a look at the current collection - there are gorgeous pieces for autumn like this red, this burgundy or this sweater dress!

We all know how time consuming blogging is and we have our ups and downs but I have made so many amazing new friends since I started my blog and this has been another touching blogger experience!
Thank you so much, dear Lydia and sorry, I won't send this lovely dress back across the North Atlantic :-)

EIN WICKELKLEID - ZWEI BLOGGERINNEN

Ich liebe Wickelkleider! Figurformend, weiblich und 100% mein Stil. Kürzlich trug Lydia auf ihrem Blog Chic On The Cheap, den ich regelmäßig lese, dieses tolle grüne Wickelkleid. Sie erwähnte dabei, dass sie eine gewisse Hass-Liebe gegen dieses Kleid und speziell seine Länge hegt. Es folgten zahlreiche aufmunternde Kommentare auf ihren post For'midi'able, wie gut ihr das Kleid doch steht. Womit ich aber nie gerechnet hatte, war Lydia's Antwort auf meinen Kommentar "Du magst das Kleid nicht mehr?? Schick es mir :-)" Nur einen Moment später hatte ich eine mail in meinem Postfach "Es gehört Dir!"

Das ist also die Geschichte dieses grünen Wickelkleids, das ich vom ersten Moment an geliebt habe, als ich es anprobiert habe! Es stammt von Max Studio und ich habe mir die aktuelle Kollektion angesehen - oh ja, da gäbe es zahlreiche Traumkleider, die ich im Herbst sofort tragen würde, z.B. dieses rote, dieses bordeauxfarbene oder dieses Strickkleid!

Wir all wissen, wie zeitintensiv bloggen ist und wir haben alle unsere Höhen und Tiefen, aber seit ich blogge habe ich unwahrscheinlich tolle Frauen kennengelernt und Erlebnisse wie diese sind einfach unbezahlbar!

Angi has been my friend for almost 30 years now and we trust each other blindly. We share and enjoy the good news and support each other when life lets us down. Our sons were born only 3 months apart. And she is the one who always makes me laugh! Thank you, Angi.

Meine Freundin Angi und ich kennen uns seit fast 30 Jahren und können uns immer auf einander verlassen, wir freuen uns gemeinsam und genießen gute Zeiten und sind für einander da, wenn es das Leben mal nicht so gut meint. SPRING IN GRAY & OSBOURN WRAP DRESS

WELCOME SPRING

A wrap dress in a gorgeous colour, bare legs and open shoes - that's my way of welcoming spring this year!

Numerous times I have mentioned that wrap dresses are my favourite type of dresses as they are flattering for every woman's body type. They add some curves and create an hourglass figure if you are very slim and embrace them if you are a curvy woman. Mock wrap dresses are even easier to wear because you don't have to fiddle around with the strap but just throw them on! I was happy when Gray & Osbourn sent me this gorgeous dress in jade green. The hardest part was chosing from their fabulous selection of stylish and timeless dresses as so many do reflect my style!

I kept my sandals, clutch and jewellery in the same silver tone as the brooch this jersey dress by Gina Bacconi comes along with. Further down I'll show you my favourite pieces of their spring collection!

And now I'll get some sun tan for my pale skin on my sunny terrace...

FRÜHLINGSLAUNE

Mit einem Kleid in einer wunderbaren, intensiven Farbe, nackten Beinen und Sandalen begrüße ich heute den Frühling!

Schon oft habe ich erwähnt, dass Wickelkleider meine Lieblingskleidungsstücke sind, da sie einfach jeder Frau und Figurtyp stehen. Schmalen, knabenhaften Frauen verleihen sie eine Sanduhrfigur und betonen bei anderen vorteilhaft vorhandene weibliche Kurven. Man kann hier also nichts falsch machen! Und eine Wickeloptik ist sogar noch einfacher zu tragen, da der ideale Schnitt schon vorgegeben ist und man nur reinschlüpfen muss. Genau das macht dieses jadegrüne Kleid, das mir Gray & Osbourn geschickt hat. Schwierig war vorab nur, mich für mein Lieblingskleid zu entscheiden, es gibt so viele elegante und zeitlose Kleider zur Auswahl!

Die Farbe ist schon ein Eyecatcher und daher habe ich das Kleid zurückhaltend mit silbernen Sandalen, einer Clutch und Schmuck kombiniert, der die Brosche des Kleides von Gina Bacconi wieder aufnimmt.

So, jetzt geht es auf meine sonnige Terrasse, denn meine Beine brauchen dringend etwas Bräune...

CASUAL STYLING: BLACK DRESS & DENIM

WEEKEND STYLING OF A BLACK DRESS

Too often dresses are associated with "dressed up", "formal" or "not suitable for daily errands". I love dresses, they are my favourite garment and I wear them as often as I can for different occasions and in various stylings. Recently I added a plain black wrap dress to my collection and I combined it with a denim blazer and leather boots for a casual weekend look.

Blue accessories add some bright colour to this outfit - almost competing with the Bavarian blue sky! The bright sunshine was lovely but I forgot my sunglasses at home...
In the meantime all snow is gone and temperatures are really mild - a very unusual winter here in the mountains.

For sure I will show you another styling of this dress soon as it is so versatile and very easy and comfortable to wear. See the same dress with polka dots worn here.

SCHWARZES KLEID MAL GANZ LEGER

Wenn ich Kleider trage, höre ich immer wieder "wo gehst Du denn heute noch hin?" oder "ich wüßte gar nicht, wann ich ein Kleid tragen soll". Ich liebe Kleider und trage sie so oft wie möglich, ins Büro, zum Weggehen, zum Einkaufen, also im Alltag genauso wie zu besonderen Anlässen. Dieses schwarze Stretch-Wickelkleid ist neu in meinem Kleiderschrank und ich habe es ganz leger mit einem Jeansblazer und schwarzen Lederstiefeln als Wochenendlook kombiniert. Das gleiche Kleid mit Tupfen hatte ich übrigens vor einiger Zeit hier an.

Blaue Accessoires brachten etwas Farbe ins Spiel und sie scheinen mit dem blauen bayerischen Himmel konkurrieren zu wollen! Herrlicher Sonnenschein, nur leider hatte ich meine Sonnenbrille zuhause vergessen...
Mittlerweile haben wir keinen Schnee mehr und die Temperaturen lagen aufgrund des Föhns im Alpenvorland bei milden 11C!

Ganz sicher werde ich Euch in Kürze eine Stylingvariante zeigen, denn dieses bequeme Kleid gehört schon jetzt zu meinen Lieblingsteilen.

POLKA DOTS AND PEARLS

Something old... something new...

Le Beaujolais Nouveau 2013 est arrivé - New wine and I wore this outfit to the annual Beaujolais Nouveau wine party graciously hosted by my French colleagues.

My black boots are new and exactly what I was looking for: simple yet elegant to be worn with dresses. A comfortable mid heel and neither too pointed nor too round. I am really happy whith them and you will see them a lot on the blog this winter!

My hairstyle is new, I got fresh colour and for the first time highlights plus I had my hair straightened.

Opposed to that, my woolen cape is really old, I'd even call it vintage as I bought it in a small boutique in the 90ies during a vacation in Italy. Luckily I kept it and now seem to have a trend piece in a trend colour!

If you follow my blog you know that I am kind of addicted to jewellery which complete my looks. Today I am wearing an elegant long perl necklace and ring "Aloha" by amika jewellery. Alt und neu...

Le Beaujolais Nouveau 2013 est arrivé - zu dieser jährlichen Party, die den neuen Wein willkommen heißt und zu der meine Französischen Kollegen immer stilvoll einladen, habe ich den heutigen Look getragen.

Neu sind auch meine schwarzen Stiefel und ich bin absolut begeistert von Ihnen, denn sie sind genau, was ich gesucht hatte! Schlicht und elegant, da ich sie hauptsächlich mit Kleidern und Röcken tragen möchte. Außerdem hat der Absatz eine ideale Höhe und die Stiefel sind vorne weder zu spitz, noch zu rund. Ich bin sicher, das werden diesen Winter meine Lieblingsschuhe!

Und zu guter Letzt: Neu sind auch meine Haare - frische Farbe und erstmals Highlights, außerdem ganz glatt geföhnt.

Im Gegensatz dazu ist mein Cape uralt! Ich habe es irgendwann in den 90ern während eines Urlaubs in einer kleinen Boutique in Italien gekauft. Praktisch, dass sowohl Capes als auch die Farbe Bordeaux aktuell im Trend sind!
